Welcome to Kimaya Banquets. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully, as they outline the rules and guidelines for using our venue and services.
1. Definitions
· Client: The person or entity entering into an agreement with Kimaya Banquets for event services.
· Services: Venue hire, event planning, catering, and other related services provided by Kimaya Banquets.
· Event: Any private or corporate gathering booked and managed at Kimaya Banquets.
2. Booking and Payment
· Reservations: Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit and a signed agreement outlining event details.
· Payment Terms: Full payment is required by the date specified in the agreement. We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods.
· Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing. Specific cancellation fees may apply based on the timing of the cancellation relative to the event date.
3. Venue Use
· Capacity: Clients must adhere to the agreed capacity limits for safety and comfort; exceeding this may result in additional fees or a halt to the event.
· Setup & Cleanup: Clients are responsible for arranging setup and cleanup within the agreed timelines. Any extension may incur additional charges.
· Compliance: Clients and their guests must comply with all UK hospitality, health, and safety regulations while on venue premises.
4. Services
· Catering and Beverages: Our catering services must be used for all food and beverage requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
· Event Coordination: We will work closely with clients to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly. Any changes or requests should be communicated promptly.
5. Liability and Damages
· Damage to Property: Clients are liable for any damage caused to the property or furnishings during their event.
· Personal Belongings: Kimaya Banquets is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
· Force Majeure: We are not liable for interruptions or cancellations due to unforeseen events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, governmental restrictions, or other emergencies.
6. Conduct
· Behavior: Clients are responsible for ensuring their guests maintain decorum and follow venue rules. Unruly behavior may result in event termination.
· Noise Levels: Music and other noise must be kept within permissible levels as per local regulations.
7. Modifications
We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service as necessary. Clients will be informed of any material changes with sufficient advance notice.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any legal proceedings relating to these terms must be brought in the courts of Scotland.
